Skateboarding is all about freedom. For skateboarding fans and enthusiasts, it is something like a religion. They get the same feelings out of it that faith gives others.
Others say skating is all about discovery and creation. "Skate and Create." A cool way to channel anger and rage into something more constructive. For still others, skateboarding is all about pushing yourself, forcing yourself to grow.
Or maybe it is about the danger and risk. The ultimate expression of a healthy, active youth.

Hey great post, I am someone who has been skateboarding all his life and you summed it up well. Its a different way of looking at things and making the seemingly impossible possible, there is even a trick called the impossible. Im going to post some skateboarding stuff on here at some point as I document nearing 40 and still skating.
