RISE OF THE MINNOWS... MEET THE #MSP PEOPLE & TOOLS MAKING THIS HAPPEN!

in minnowsupport •  7 years ago  (edited)

Steemit.com and the WorldWideWeb has been buzzing about the Rising of the Minnows from obscurity to recognition and success and this is all thanks to @aggroed the Mayor of Minnow town and his band of sheriffs. The Minnows are rising.jpg With their very impressive work and contribution that comes with a pinch of brotherly love, the Minnows are not just asking you to help them grow, they are growing into Dolphins and Whales in their own right.

The #MinnowSupportProject has been handy in its desire to promote the welfare and overall success of the minnows in this steemit shark infested water.
You may ask, "how has that been working out"? Well, lets just say **hats off to the people behind the day to day running of the P.A.L Network home of the #msp.

WHY THE #MINNOWSUPPORTPROJECT?
The #MSP was created with a single purpose, to HELP Minnows find success and succeed while navigating on the Steemit network. The shark infested waters of Steemit is really a hard terrain for a minnow to navigate and it was with that in mind that the community has existed to be a comfort zone to all.
What makes the #MSP thick and how has it been able to bridge the gap between the minnows and success? One word, COMMUNITY! The #msp is grown to over 2,700 members strong and its only a short time before it crosses that 3000 mark and this feat is on account of the people and the tools in play.
#MSP VISION
(Abstract). By carefully structuring a community where people can find the help they need to write better articles, to reach a wider audience, connect with others, and grow their wealth and influence on Steemit.

  1. The PEOPLE: For a leader to be able to achieve his goals, his team's priorities must be the business and the business only. A leader is only as good as his team. The people running the #msp are friendly and accommodating; master in their various fields and they channel their expertise to make sure you get quality attention.
The leadership and mod teams are made up of awesome people like @teamsteem, @ausbitbank, @canadian-coconut, @someguy123, @thecryptodrive @gmuxx, @rhondak, @theprophet0 @sammo, @neoxian, etc and you can always be sure to see at least 5 of the people listed here on site at a particular time. To now more about them and follow them for future success, click their names.

  2. The COMMUNAL SUPPORT; Everything about the #msp screams community and you will not fail to see this in action the minute you land on the page. The people preach and live within the tenets of community participation and involvement and this has also lead to the Rising of the Minnows.

  3. The BOTS. I call them the very useful sidekicks and trust me, they are the only ones who understand how you feel when after spending endless hours researching and writing your article, you hardly make $1. The bots swoop in and wave their magic wands, and "botgenie" you make something that at least compensates for all the efforts. These bot are powered in various ways. We are going to be looking at the various bots available to you through the #msp either by her people or through collaboration.

  • @lovejuice. This is a bid bot described as a penny slot machine, where you place bids starting at 0.01 SBD and the bot will vote every 36 minutes with a maximum payout of 80 cents – based on USD. See full details HERE @aggroed created this bot that hits with a dank of some sorts, hehehe.

  • @banjo and @minnowsupport bots. There are the most known bots on the P.A.L network because they are more the $Upvote bots that swings into action and vote with the combined power of the minnows on your post of choice. You can only use it once per post and only once every 12 hours. Be sure to wait at least 20 minutes from time of posting to invoke the upvote. Trying to upvote before your allotted time get you locked down in a cooldown and will have to wait longer.

  • @msp-africa. This bot was created for the Steemit African community by @aggroed. Its duty is to upvote users post and it operates like @msp-lovebot. More information is available here @richguy spearheads the campaign.

  • @msp-creativebot. This is one creatively creative bot that creatively follows creative artist, authors and singers. To use this bot you have to delegate at least 100SP. It was created by @aggroed and @sammosk and it just creatively does its magic.

  • @minnowbooster. This bot is termed an ATM for Automated Delegated SP Leasing that provides minnows with the much needed STEEM POWER BOOST to be able to have a greater influence and effect on the platform. It is similar to @randowhale but this one has a predictable upvote return proportionate to your spending.

  • @discordia. This bot can be used by anyone to request votes. it is described as "a smaller, faster version of @booster , except rounds of bids close every 18 minutes (instead of 2hrs)". The services of this bot comes equipped with a bonus random chance of followup votes and resteems from @ausbitbank or @ausbitbot on quality content. @ausbitbank is behind this genius. To learn more go Here.

  • @centerlink. This bot is also brought to the #MSP community by @ausbitbank and it is specially designed for Australian Steemit users. Go to #TeamAustralianChannel to learn more.

  • @msp-shanehug. This is your "huggy bear" bot and it works for people who delegated from1-99SP. It was created by @swelker101 and you can read more here. So as a minnow, if you can delegate between 1-99SP, you will be getting one too many hugs from the "huggy bear" bot.

  • @msp-lovebot. This bot works in an amazing way and all you need do is delegate 100SP or more to any of these bots and you will be added to the following list of @msp-lovebot. This bot does not need an upvote command as it will vote on every post you publish because it will be following you and so will naturally be one the first to see your post. Introduced by @aggroed.

  • @muxxybot. This bot is as at today the newest kid on the block and if I will say anything about it, I think it should be fun. The primary objective according to its creator @gmuxx is to Seek worthy post, groovy right? Read MORE.

Apart from the bots handing out free candies, the community also runs various contest to help the minnows. Laudable contest like the SteemFest Minnow Contest where 3 persons will win free tickets to attend SteemFest in Lisbon Portugal in November has just been concluded and 3 winners have emerged. See MINNOWFESTCONTEST.
