I Entered a Contest and Lost!

I entered my song Winter in a contest a few days ago and I lost. I was sad about losing, but I also had a beautiful, heart warming feeling of support from my friends at the Minnow Support Project.

So many people came together to help with the voting. The contest was set up where people actually had to vote 2 separate times! I was so moved that people took the time to vote both times.

There were members of MSP who were also campaigning for votes as well. (Thank you Sammo and Muxxy!)
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who took the time to vote and offer their support!

The Beauty of MSP Community Support

This whole process showed me once again how wonderful and supportive the MSP community really is.
Everyone coming together to help meant the world to me.

I have been wanting to do my part to help my fellow minnows and I was very excited about the 10k contest and being able to curate minnow posts for a week so I was very sad when I lost and went to bed feeling like I had let everyone down.

However, the following morning I woke up to a pleasant surprise of seeing 10,000 SP delegated to my account!
I was confused and didn’t know where it came from so I checked steemd.com and saw that it was from @eturnerx.
I asked Shane about it and he said that @eturnerx was the wonderful person who had also delegated to all of the MSP moderators!
I sent him a message thanking him for his generosity and kindness and he told me that I should thank @sammosk for arranging it!

The Make a Minnow Foundation

Apparently Sammo had created an entire Super Top Secret Project that has been funded by @eturnerx!
These fantastic minnows also donated to help!

I have been chosen as the first recipient of this wonderful project and have received the MaM medal of honor which is10,000 SP delegation for 1 month, granted by the founders of the make a minnow service, @sammosk and @eturnerx!
I am honored and humbled by this gesture, and I am deeply moved that I have been chosen as the first recipient.

I have been wanting to do my part to help for sometime now and I am thrilled that I can now help to curate minnow posts!
I promise to help as many minnows as I can during this time.
I won’t let you down.

All future funds for this project will be collected into a pot which will be used to turn a Minnow into a Dolphin via leased SP for 4 weeks.

There are so many minnows who I believe deserve this award, it’s going to be extremely difficult for me to decide who I want to choose first!
