WHAT I LOVE ABOUT STEEMIT AND WHY I LOVE THEM.

Hello Steemians,
My name is Godswill Uddy Akpanowo am from the southern part of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State to be precise. I am a mechanical engineering student in university of uyo. I love and enjoy working with my pencils and playing basketball.
I must confess that steemit is a community of great and amazing people with mind blowing ideas and potential which are in high need in our society today.
Today i want to write about the things i find interesting about steemit which have made me to fall in love with the platform.

How i got to know about steemit
Well, i was told about this great platform late last year by a colleague at school, he was mainly telling me about the financial benefits which i thought it a scam.
Then early this year a close friend of mine @engrbrain1 took time to educate me of all the benefits of the platform which caught my interest and made me join.

THE INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION
The first thing i noticed about this awesome platform as i signed in was the inspiration that comes with it. Seeing how great works are been rewarded and appreciated was so inspiring to me.
I also noticed that people didn't just post things any how but took out time to prepare great post to meet some persons need these motivated me some much to get started and contribute my little quarter to this great community.
Post from great men like @teamsteem, @runicar, @velinir, @jazmimillion, @surpassinggoogle, @purepinay, @slowwalker, and @candyman have been a great inspiration to me i must confess, thank you sir's you guys are great mentors and role model.

THE EXPOSURE
Each time i login to this platform i in one way or the other get to see things i have never seen before.
It has been in these platform that i got to see a great art work done with done with a combination of pencil and poster colour and a lot of great and wonderful photographs.
These platform have made me appreciate black and white photos the more through the incredible black and white that i have seen in the various black and white challenges in this platform. All this have made me know that i need to learn more.

THE MENTORSHIP
This platform has shown me that i still have a lot to learn and as such i have go to people who have been there before me to learn from them and also check great posts done by others so as to know how to arrange and present mine checking how the connect each line and make sense of it.
These platform has made me to appreciate mentorship and role models as i need them so has to know how i can made great post as theirs.

THE RELATIONSHIP
Another important thing about these platform is that it has a way of showing that no one is an island that we need each other minnows and whales alike. And people in this platform has taken it upon themselves to maintain these relationship through meet ups, contests and challenges. I have gotten to meet a lot of great people in through these platform and for this am grateful.

THE NEED TO BE CREATIVE, NATURAL AND HARD WORKING
Because it is the main and most important part of this platform to me. These platform has a way of encouraging creativity, being natural and hard working as i have seen a lot of creative work been rewarded and appreciated. These alone have been a source of motivation and inspiration to me. It has made me more are more hard working by the day which is a great adjustment to me.

THE GOOD NEWS
The good news about these platform is the rewards that come with it which are the appreciation from people that have benefited from your post and financial benefit(Alert!!!!!!!!!).
This part have brought a lot of people to this platform and a great source of encouragement that is keep them here.
