Success and Promotions

The Minnow Support Project is pleased to report on current delegation drive status as well as make mention of a notable change to governance within the group.

Delegation Drive

The current plan is to drive to 150k SP on the bot. @minnowsupport is currently sitting at 80k SP for both delegated and organic SP. So, we're just over 50% of our fund raising goals. We are still recovering from the loss of @benjojo's delegation, but we're pleased to be a whale on our own right and thankful for the delegations that have come in (we are also extremely grateful for his generosity in helping us launch MSP).

If you'd like to contribute to Minnow Support and help us maintain, train, and grow our user base than please consider putting in a delegation yourself. Along with social standing within the Discord group PALnet (Peace, Abundance, and Liberty Network) you'll also receive automatic votes from @msp-lovebot a voting bot running on @steemvoter to provide automatic votes on posts in line with delegation amount.

Governance

The Minnow Support Project has recently added 2 new categories to the leadership team regarding Discord moderation.

Sr. Moderators: These folks will have full executive control of the day to day operations of the Minnow Support Project. They also have curation rights along with the other moderators and a handful of selected curators to upvote and resteem using the @minnowsupport account thanks to the creation of MSP3k which is a program created by fellow witness @netuoso for which he was awarded the MSP Medal of Honor.

Congratulations to @crimsonclad, @swelker101, @gmuxx, and @sammosk as the very first recipients of Sr. Moderator. You have all truly earned you're stake weight in PALnet and we look forward to continuing to grow under your executive leadership.

We're also adding more moderators in anticipation of growth curve of Steemit. The Minnow Support Project is joining the Steemit Welcome page as the New Member Support Group. When HF20 Velocity arrives with many much needed alterations to onboarding we're expecting rapid growth of the platform. It's likely going to impact the Minnow Support Project as we're on the front lines of training new Minnows regarding how to Steemit.

So, we're adding another class of moderator: jr. moderator. The two most recent moderators @juliakponsford and @stitchybitch are now both jr. Moderators. The distinction will last a minimum of a week, but after that it's up to each jr. moderator to decide for themselves when they are ready to take on full responsibility as they see it.

In addition to the current Jr. Moderators the Minnow Support Project is pleased to announce the acceptance of application for both @travelnurse and former Minnow Support Project Medal of Honor recipient @sircork. Congratulations to you both.

In total the Minnow Support Project now has 12 moderators helping to manage and operate the Discord group in addition to the publicly elected Witnesses that help on many on the strategic calls.
