Im relatively new to steemit but my buddy who introduced me to the platform has been on for about a year. i believe the project has something to do with building up new active members who deliver interesting and indepth content thus adding value to Steemit.. the idea being we are the minnows of steemit and they want us to grow and flurish.. i believe lol..
