Miss World 2017, was held on 18 November 2017 at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. This was the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant. There were 118 contestants from all over the world who competed for the crown. This why I said it takes more than good looks to become Miss World.

Ms Manushi Chhillar a 20 year old girl, who was studying to become a doctor emerged the winner of the coveted title of Miss World, having Andrea Meza from Mexico and Stephanie Hill from England as the first and second runners up.

The winner of last year's title, Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle handed over her crown on the 18/11/2017 to Miss Manushi Chhillar from Indian extraction.
It pertinent to note that Ms Manushi Chhillar is the 6th Indian woman to win this title. This cleared my doubt on the assertion that, India is a beautiful country to be. The beauty is always related to the inner beauty. although this beauty is also related to their rich cultural and traditional endowments.
The Physical beauty of people of India is one point that cannot be overlooked, the people of India are naturally beautiful. The long list of Ms World from India confirms this claim.

In the year 1966, Reita Faria was the first Indian woman to claim the title.
In the year 1997, Aishwarya Rai Bachanchan won the title also.
In the year 1994, Diana Haydon followed suit.
In the year 1997, Yukta Mookhey emerged victorous.
in 1999 and Miss Chopra won the coveted title.
At my college with the wonderful team of nurses who work day and night attending to gynaecology patients.
To conclude I would say that India is indeed a place of beauty, I mean, physical beauty. Aside Indian girls winning Ms world, many Indian girls have won beauty pageants all over the world. The recent one, was few years ago, an Indian lady became Ms. USA. She was also a medical student.
