Will The Next MI Take Place On The International Space Station?

in missionimpossible •  4 years ago

Some of the most incredible stunts that have ever been filmed have been created for the Mission Impossible franchise. From flying on the side of a plane, to climbing a building, or jumping from one building to the next, Tom Cruise has made a name for himself as being a daredevil stuntman over the years. And his next stunt might put him in space.

NASA is going to be working with Tom Cruise to shoot a movie on the International Space Station in the near future.

With every movie that Cruise does it always seems to be bigger and better for his stunts.

It's reported that Cruise has been working with NASA and SpaceX together on the project.

NASA has admitted that they are excited about working together on the project and hope that it will inspire some new interest for engineers and scientists around the world to get more involved in this work. In order to make NASA's "ambitious plans" into a true reality.

So far SpaceX has not confirmed that it is working on the project though, but that is what media reports have suggested.

Although SpaceX hasn't officially confirmed anything, Elon Musk did tweet out that this "should be a lot of fun" in response to the tweet from Bridenstine.

For Cruise, shooting a movie and doing any stunts in space is sure to be one of the most dangerous and exciting adventures he's ever embarked on. How is he going to top that once it is all done? Eventually he might have to come to terms with the idea that he cannot outdo himself and his stunt work any longer.
