During the 1960s, the space war was on between USSR (Soviet Union) and America.
It is said that USSR made it to the space way before that the Americans. However, several mistakes were made and several lives were sacrificed in the space during the race which were marvelously hidden by both the parties.
However, one of the transmission was caught on the radar by the Americans which was translated after a few years. They realized it was a cosmonaut (Russian astronaut) who got lost in the space.
It is said that USSR knew that the female cosmonaut will not able to come back to Earth and they hid this truth from her. One source says that she got lost in space and got burnt due to the heat faced by here going nearer to the sun while the other source says that she hit the earth atmosphere and burnt alive in that.
