Do you constantly follow the same scenario, but you expect things to go differently?
It is said that the best predictor for the future is our past. Why is that? Our interior reality has formed after a thousand gestures and events, without us knowing when and how and without having any control.
Being adults, we see, interpret, act and interact based on this internal reality.
Our way of manifestation in any kind of relationship has its’ origins in our childhood, in our earliest experiences.
This patterns remain active our whole lives, but why do they have so much power over us, why do we keep repeating the same things?
Why do we keep putting ourselves in painful situations, doing the same mistakes over and over again?
Well, this is a mechanism that is called repetition compulsion, or in other words, “repetition is the key to learning”.
If you would ask me why do we repeat mistakes, I would say that we do so because in any repetition there’s a wish for learning something out of it.
Our behavior is dictated by the things that impressed us when we were children. What is unpleasant for the conscious life can be pleasant for the unconscious one, because the subconscious does what it knows best.
Our entire mental mechanism is structured on this paradox.
Only by becoming aware of these repetitions we will be able to break the circle.
To rise above our comfort zone is a part of our human experience. It might be easier and more comfortable to suffer like this, to hide behind the idea that we’re victims of karma or the universe, instead of having a fight with ourselves.
But the only way to have control over your own mind is to be conscious of the mistakes you keep making and to take action against these patterns of the mind.
It’s up to you if you keep living like this, doing the same thing over and over again, wondering why it didn’t end well, or if you choose to be your own master and to dictate which way your life is going.
Thank you, @jwolf.
Learning from your mistakes isn’t a big deal, especially when you are making them again and again. The real problem lies in implementing the lessons.

There is no how you do the same thing using the same method and get different outcome.
It is not a big deal to make a mistake but repetition of mistakes make one a fool

I used to be a victim of close-mindedness until I realized many roads lead to Chicago. It's a pity that the majority doesn't believe in flexibility although this owes to other factors..
It's also as a result of the rigid mentality some people grow up with!
Great one @jwolf
