Open Letter to @MisterDelegation

@MisterDelegation you should tell us the resistance is not futile!

We, a handfull of brave people started resisting against the tyrany of the @GrumpyCat.

We all believe that Steemit should be free of bully whales dictating their terms by hurting innocent people, downvoting their fresh posts and taking their hard-earned SBD from their hands.

This was the dawn of the The Resistance and the bot @We-Resist( made by @r351574nc3)

You can find the past story here

We also formed a discord channel -RESIST- that we gather up and discuss on how to stop this tyrany and how to make SteemIt a better place for all.

Soon after, we had devs, witnesses and people with good heart in the channel.
With discussions our vision improved.

It is hillarious, we even had @GrumpyCat as himself in the channel.
OK, the chat was not so satisfactory but it was something.
Mostly as below :

Grumpycat hopped into the server. Kangaroo!!Last Saturday at 12:21 AM
Grumpycat - Last Saturday at 12:22 AM
You guys are cute.

We are big guys, the "kind" insult of Grumpy was handled in most mature way possible.

As vision, especially @michaeldavid ( trainer of @sneaky-ninja bot ) has a very good initiative that he is planning to start. He calls it : "The Freedom Initiative"

Below is his explanation with his words, with his permission:

I want to create something called the Freedom Initiative
not enforcers, not saviors but equilizers
with only one purpose
balancing the scales when whales decide to do this type of thing
the idea would be to write up a cal out to all steemians that enjoy freedom
Exlplain how their freedoms ar being threatened and by whom (grumpy)
And ask for 100's or thousands of steemians to stand and do just what your bot is doing
upvote victims
downvote tyrant
make him useless here
make him unable to move for like couple months
aftetr that he will either quit or find something else to do
but the masses need to see that they realy have the power
not just whales

I want to emphasize the words : "The masses need to see that they really have the power not just whales"

This is the main start point of The Resistance, many people against one bully.

At the point we are, the bot is working, we have real support which is increasing day by day.

At any kind of war, it is vital to know your enemy.

We started digging all the past, all the side accounts and transfers of @GrumpyCat.

The account @GrumpyCat is created by an anonsteem created account @checkthisout.

No problem so far.
Then digging deeper on this @checkthisout account we realized that, this account had a delegation from @misterdelegation a huge whale with 16 milion SP ( 11 m SP delegated ).

The delegation is given and taken back, so it is only a 7 days of delegation.

Did we get into mystery ?

Now mystery continues...

@MisterDelegation doesn't sell delegations.
It is a Steemit Inc. controlled account.

It gives delegations to :

Crazy questions in my head :

  • Why did @misterdelegation gave 200kSP delegation to @checkthisout (@grumpycat)?
  • Is @GrumpyCat a shark put in the fish pool to keep the fishes active?
  • Is he a rule enforcer put in the system instead of directly putting the rules?
  • Are we a part of an experiment that we don't know?
  • Is The Resistance in fact resisting an operation of Steemit Inc?

There are two people in SteemIt who can reply these questions :

  1. @GrumpyCat
  2. @MisterDelegation

The first one, I don't expect to get a reply.

So, as a minnow, for all the minnows I would like to direct at least the first question to @misterdelegation:

Who is @GrumpyCat and why did you delegate SP to him?

Please let us know what we are into...
We would kindly invite you to our discord :https://discord.gg/qMWCbWR

Why wouldn't Stinc delegate to 20 more @grumpycat accounts? He corrected a lot of spam vote bot buying by those looking to steal from the reward pool regardless of when their votes were bought. Stealing from the pool one minute after posting is the same as stealing at day 6.

What has he corrected exactly? He bullied and flagged legit users under the pretense of preventing abuse, then self-upvoted his own comments with thousands in rewards. If he really wants to tackle spam and shit posts, he's not doing it correctly. There are other whales raping the reward pool with self-upvotes like he does, I'd like to see him tackle them if he had the balls. But in the end, they're all the same kind.

He hit vote buyers where it hurt, the pocket. That is all that needs to be done every hour when the bots vote. It just needs to happen to every vote that is bought and not select ones. Once the bots are out of the picture we can work on the voting rings.

He has the balls and the resources. Problems must be dealt with one at a time. 1st you get the smaller users to stop using the bid bots, then remove the bots and then on to the next problem. I guess most of the confusion you guys are having is not knowing who is behind the accounts and if you want to pool your resources to fight a small account like @grumpycat the creator of GrumpyCat can use his 100x's bigger account to do what ever the fuck he wants.

The down votes are not random, they only appear that way. There is a key element to them all.

Why this much "power love"?
So you say, anyone who has the power shall do anything he wants and the others should silently obey...
Friend, Steemit is only alive with the people inside. Steem is only valuable as long as it is used.

If it is Steemit that imposes the rules by unleashing a bully on people then yes, We-Resist Steemit!

Just to make it a better place for all...

Here is my reply to you and your group. Also who the people are you're trying to identify.

https://steemit.com/delegation/@erodedthoughts/defend-yourself-against-grumpycat

It's never too late to try again.

Hi @firedream, I take my hat off to you. Looks like you are finally asking the right questions.

This is what I believe to be the case. The large majority of the accounts on Steemit are minnow accounts. By themselves they are weak and easily bullied. Many minnows buy votes from bots which inflates the apparent worth of their posts. Any onlooker will think many minnow posts are profitable when they are not. The bots are reaping the rewards by selling votes. Grumpy Compliance reduces the number of bids on bots by restricting those who want to make a quick profit, hence benefiting everyone else bidding.

The approach adopted has been to hurt those buying votes from non-grumpy compliant bots. This has pressured those running the bots to comply to Grumpy Compliance as they do not want to lose bids (SBD). This also created the perception that @grumpycat is a villian. This is something that apparently most following the actions of @grumpycat believe to be true. This, in fact, is the beauty of @grumpycat. You have now formed a resistance pulling together to defend minnow rights. Minnows have become more aware of the dominance of some whales and are now willing to step up and fight for themselves rather than complaining about being the victims. This resistance should grow beyond just resisting @grumpycat but to any account that is being used to abuse the system or bully others. Sometimes all we need is a common enemy to be able to stand up. I believe @grumpycat is playing this role and appears to be doing a very good job.

After all, the minnows need to play a role in stopping those crabs escaping the bucket.

Steemit itself could easily impose the rules and limit bot usage.
If they are using a black-ops agent like @grumpycat hiding behind a mask of "freedom" then to this:

We-Resist !

FD.

Steemit itself could easily impose the rules

Total facepalm.

Well, still not THE answer...

FD.

ping

This is not THE answer...

What is the question?

Hi @grumpycat, who you are in real life?

pong

Ribbit!

I wouldn't expect a reply from misterdelegation, he has yet to make a comment or post.

I do love that you have called the GrumpyCat Project "Freedom" that is just funny as fuck.

Why did @misterdelegation gave 200kSP delegation to @checkthisout (@grumpycat)?

The delegation was a mistake, it was meant to be done from a different
account.

"TO" a different account or "FROM" a different account.
Your reply puts only more mist on the subject...
FD.

Can i find you in steemit chat or discord?

Don't use either.

There are too many mysteries on Steemit platform.
