Magic Leap is the next generation of computing. The company just reveal there new Mixed Reality headset called Magic Leap One, after working behind closed doors since 2011.
We're adding another dimension to computing. Where digital respects the physical. And they work together to make life better. Magic Leap One is built for creators who want to change how we experience the world.
This tech is really exciting!
With this gear we will be able to compute in the real world. What do I mean by this? As you see in the first image from there website the digital world is mixed in with your real world. What is unique about this technoligy is how they present the images to your eyes.
With lightfields the light is projected into your eye the same way the light from the world reaches your eye. This has the effect of it being blended into the world so that your mind perceives it at a real object.
As an artist this means that I can sculpt with light!!! I can build in my real world and paint the walls I can then be able to give you a digital copy of that you can have in your space. This is a game changer!
This year I decided to take the money I was going to invest in an Oculus Rift CV1 that retailed for $600 at that time, and instead buy crypto starting with bitcoin and I watched that go up and then I found STEEM and traded my bitcion for STEEM. With this platform I see how undervalued it is right now and I am so happy I made that choice in September 2017. The main point is that I now have way more than that $600 VR headset that now sells for $399. With the rise in steem and sbd price along with my posts I have gone from 1200 sp to 1500 sp. This next year as the price rises I will be able to trade some of it out to buy the new Magic Leap One Creators Edition and share how it works and my experiances with it here on STEEM. I am sure that the blogs I write about it will reward me with enough to cover the cost of the headset.
This was my dream to take the money I was going to spend on some hardware and use crypto's deflationary model against the lowering cost of electronics each year to take the money I was going to spend on one VR headset in 2017 and make it pay for all my VR and Mixed Reality Headsets for the rest of my life.
With this Mixed Reality headset one of the first things I am going to build is a blockchain explorier. Imagine having your walls covered with the latest Black and White photo challenge. Or have the trending top Art in a virtual gallery that could update in real time so your walls just have new art on them all the time. And you can go up to the painting on the wall and upvote it. This will bring STEEM off the page and the tiny phone and into your WORLD!

Oh yes just imagine drawing in the air and having that drawing or sculpture staying there. You can give it to someone and it will be there for them.
They went on to say you could have a StarWars themed day and look outside and see X wings flying over. You can imagine with tech like the snap chat face changer that would be super fun to see everyone looking like a wookie or something else. The possibilities are endless. I am so looking forward to 2018 and getting one of these @gotmeens you can be sure I will share my creations with it.ILM industrial Light and Magic is working with Leap to make starwars themed stuff for it. Here is a demo they did last year to show off the tech.

o man.... the endless possibilities.. i just hope we can use it for good and to benefit the masses... i can just see the dark side of all this being very very dark... and the powers that be give no fucks to subject us to that darkness... more ppl need to be educated about technology..
