Baseball fans in Cleveland have seen their team go through some ups and downs this year, but after starting the second half at 12-5, the Tribe have vaulted into Wild Card position in the American League – and they’re hungry for more. Cleveland can improve their playoff chances this weekend with a three-game set against the Los Angeles Angels. Game 2 will be shown Saturday at 7:10 PM ET on FS1.

It’s uncertain at press time who will start this game for the Tribe – they sent Trevor Bauer to the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday in a three-way deal that sees OF Yasiel Puig (.777 OPS) come over from Cincinnati, along with several prospects from the San Diego Padres. Bauer was an All-Star for Cleveland this year.
While it’s not yet official, the Angels are expected to send Jaime Barria (6.28 ERA) to the mound in Anaheim. The sophomore northpaw has made just five starts this year, although the Angels have also used “openers” in some of his five relief appearances, with mixed results. This will be his second career game against the Tribe; last year, Barria led the Halos to a 7-4 victory over Cleveland as +228 road dogs.
MLB Odds: Tribe-Halos on FS1
After shocking fans in Cleveland by trading Trevor Bauer to the Cincinnati Reds, the Tribe will visit the Los Angeles Angels this weekend for a three-game series. FS1 has the second game this Saturday at 7:10 PM ET.
With Bauer leaving the rotation – and OF Yasiel Puig (.777 OPS) joining the team from Cincinnati – Cleveland’s starting pitcher for Saturday has yet to be determined. The Angels are expected to go with Jaime Barria (6.28 ERA), who has struggled in his second year in LA. However, Barria did lead the Halos (+228 away) to a 7-4 win over Cleveland in 2018.
