Hawaii's Angela Lee looked like she was going to claim her second title, as she moved up in weight to fight Jingnan Xiong the Strawweight Champion. She had Jingnan in a tight armbar in round four but Jingnan ate it and made it out of the round.
Round 5 was a different story. Jingnan hurt Angela to the body early and pushed her against the cage and started to unleash a barrage of punches and kicks. The referee stepped in at 1:37 into the fifth round to stop the fight and Jingnan wins by technical knockout/
This is Angela Lee's first loss and the Hawaii fighter is now 9-1.
