After much Yanni-listening, I have come to terms with Holloway-Nurmagomedov and I am eating my words like popcorn.
Odd to me on a few levels:
- Holloway was too injured to face Ortega, a guy who he matches up well against, but then takes a larger, terrible match up on less than a week?
- Ferguson apparently tripped over a cable, indoors to bust his LCL. He might have been wearing his shades.
- This is the fourth time this bout has been cancelled.
- On April 1st, really?
My Skeptic's Muscle was in full swing on this one. Unfortunately, it was a false alarm: This is not an elaborate prank. In some ways, I'm glad I wasn't right. I might have turned into a tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist.
