Knowing your opponent

Looking at this photo reminds me of what I was thinking at exactly this point . People just watching the fight wouldn't know this , but my coach predicted this moment was going to happen. He watched my opponents last fights and knew at this moment, she would be waiting to kick me in the head when I stood. We drilled out so many times this scenario , and there I was , back to the floor in the exact position ready to do what I had to do. Sure enough when I stood she threw a kick to my head , and I dodged it. In the fight you can see me laugh as I couldn't believe that had just happened. moments like those make me realise how lucky I am to have such a great coach in my corner . Wow Sophie! Great finish. The knees and elbows from the clinch in the first were nice. Transitioning from the head and arm to mount :) beautiful!

Thank you! Was a great experience , onto the next!

Onto the next! Can't wait to see it :)

Great coaching indeed, nothing better than a coach who studies tape and then implement a game plan. BUT you are the one who put in the numerous drilling it, and then ultimately executing it in the cage, one of the MOST high pressure situations in the world! So big props to you! I am gonna check out your fights. Best of luck with you MMA career.

Thank you so much. It's a tough game but something you can only ever understand once you've been in that cage with someone standing opposite you .

Nice composed ground and pound, you placed your shots beautifully.
