This is a fact and almost all of us have experienced this that whatever we think starts showing up on our social media. It's like there is a thought and there is information out there. Few days back me and hubby had just started discussing about our trip to Switzerland and we were discussing about which places should we visit this time. I suggested that we should visit Zermatt and then next when I use my phone, I see there are all the options of Zermatt hotels popping up on my Insta and FB pages. This is not the first time. I have done all those security settings as well but still these things happen.
Majority of the times I do not like to keep my phone near me, it feels like it's haunting me. Nowadays if I have to make some important communication with hubby or plan some outing I keep my phone in another room, and also avoid taking it out if not needed. Smart phones are doing many smart things to make us dumb and we get so easily caught up in it. Yes, I do get finicky about these things. It feels like that some eyes are always on me tracking my movements and keeping a watch on me.
Technology is good but I would like to control it and I would not like being controlled by it. When I ask for it and if it shows me, I am completely happy about it, but if it keeps acting smart and keeps poking its nose in my life then that's what I do not like at all. So many apps get introduced and almost all of them want you to share their data with them, If you do not accept, they do not allow you to proceed.
Recently I bought the latest Samsung phone, my friends say it's a waste with me, because I do not use it to its full capacity. The main purpose for me to buy this phone was the camera for the picture clarity and not for any other use. So, I am fine with it not using other features. Day by day these gadgets are becoming expensive and more complicated and complicating our lives as well. With my old school thought I strongly believe that life before these phones were much better. We used our brains more than our fingers, now it is the opposite.

It is very interesting this topic, when I read it in your post, I did not know that a conversation about a private topic is captured by this technology and send you information to your social networks. I don't like the idea of having a spy so close, I will be more cautious not to have that device nearby. We are already in a dangerous frontier that violates our privacy.
