Weekend in Oslob Cebu

Fresh air, beautiful sunrays peeking through the trees, the sound of birds chirping harmoniously - these are the usual scenarios when we are in the province.

And as the day breaks, my husband and I get up to meet the morning sun, watch it slowly move up from the horizon with happy and radiant face.

We pass through trees left to grow without having to worry on even a single thing.

I watch my favorite tree, the old but sturdy Acacia tree standing proudly as the cars pass by. I appreciate its shade and beauty every time.

At its bottom gathers wonderfully dying leaves, of yello, orange, brown and gray. I hope to keep one of its leaves in a container, preserve it and make it in a pendant.

Across the street is the beach. Its waves splashing as it breaks into the shoreline. I couldn't swim that day but the clear blue waters I will definitely dive in one day, someday.

My husband's most fond thing to do when in Oslob is none other than watching his fighting rosters.

Here he stands at the cording area. Played like a guard that awaits devouring enemies but these rosters are alert even with their feet attached to the grounds.

We greeted locals as we pass by each neighborhood. The foliage had captivated my eyes and I was compelled to take a shot of this nice leaves of the local rootcrop.

I later found out these were planted by my grandmother in law.

A surprise appeared as we were on our way home. A goat family cuddling and chilling under the shade. How awesome the mom for she bore three kids. Goats normally give birth to one or two but this extraordinary has three.

The best thing was that they somehow love being photographed! They didn't bother us getting close to them!
