So steem engine needs a mobile keychain to fix this mobile mess from pre y2k I'm told and I suspect I shouldn't be holding my breath on that project..Even though I've heard it's coming soon.

If you have Pal or Steem staked, I think their basic algos simply drop Steemians in proportion to that. Don't sweat it. It's seemingly an automated process with some bugs. Go listen to some 90's grunge!

Yea that's what I figured and why I said I get there isn't some guy allocating an infinitesimal amount of blank coin. I'm just slamming home my point that a poorly built distribution system, (specifically for mobile) and a follow the leader mentality doesn't impress me at all.
For me the entire thing is a fad and a, distraction from the failed economics of steem the native coin. It's also going to line the pockets of those already killing it here like marky did with tribe recently.. But, no communities here have any hope if they don't onboard specific users onto steem and into their niche..
All in all I'm set on making a fuss for mobile first design as I can't see anything surviving here without that being a core focus.

Yea, it's fairly clear that many are simply trying to extract more $ out of our tapped community. Creating their own tokens with a fabricated market cap is an eye-roll for me, although I do appreciate a few cases for their utility, spirit and fun. I wouldn't really give them monetary value, but that's where I stop to not stress it. Bullshit will eventually return to $0.
