I've used Modalert for road trips, parties, and days where I'm under slept. You pop the little 200mg tablet and in about an hour you experience a subtle energy. You no longer feel fatigued, you are no longer yawning. Actually, you couldn't go to sleep if you wanted to. It's hard to tell what has changed but you notice something. You notice caffeine is MUCH stronger. Once again, this is not some crazy drug.

Modalert is LONG lasting. I have to take it around 7am or earlier if I hope to get any sleep that night. I've taken it too late in the afternoon and couldn't get to sleep until 5am. You can treat your body like garbage, never exercise and still feel like you have the energy you did back in the glory days. That is a dangerous prospect indeed.

My suggestion? Use Modalert for only those crucial times when non stop relentless energy is absolutely necessary. Maybe you have to pull an all night driving shift on a road trip. Maybe something CRUCIAL is due in class the next day and you must power through the night. This is not something to be used as a crutch or to replace natural energy generation methods.
