Monday Sunrise - April 29, 2019

Since I have started working in town, I do not get to enjoy coffee on my front porch while sunrise happens. However, I do get to see the lake in a variety views everyday as we cross the Keystone Bridge. I have seen it grey, blue, and green while it is choppy as all get out with white caps as far as you can see or as smooth as glass. It is one of the things I love most about living at the lake.

Scott and I will be purchasing kayaks very soon and at that point the lake will be ours. I am not a sailor and I don't care much for sail or motor boats, but there is something about being on the water in a kayak. I cant wait to visit the little coves we see along the shoreline as we cross the bridge. It will definitely be something that will make my heart extremely happy.

I try to find the good things when I am having a rough day. One of best parts about the drive into work is to see the Tulsa Skyline. It is one of the prettiest that I have seen. They use a lot of blue lights and have the most art decor period buildings. Someday I should tell you more about the downtown Tulsa skyline, but now I have to get busy with the job.

Our commute is short to work, but living in the hills makes it a nice drive. The views out here are great despite the thousands of rooftops blanketing the yhe foothills. Nice shots Ren.

Thanks. It always amazes me how much "wildness" there seems to be in your area. I just love some of the places there, the rooftops dont seem to matter.

So nice to live near a body of water like that! I bet having those kayaks will be such a blast for you both to get out and enjoy it even more! I like your morning positivity with just enjoying the drive. I think we often get so caught up we don't find beauty in the daily scenery. It doesn't always have to be super scenic or spectacular, but there is beauty everywhere!

We try to find the roads less traveled. There was this one road we had always wondered about and I just refused to take the highway this time. It has turned out to be my favorite so far!
