¿Qué tal Cripto-mundo?
Les comparto brevemente las pericias de cómo me he ido enfrentando a un uso diferente de la Wallet de MONERO (XMR).
Esta wallet ya la había creado desde hace casi tres años. Pero no había hecho ningún envío. Confiado en que con las palabras semilla bastaba, entré a mi wallet. Copié la dirección que indica para depositar. Y una primera vez la había abierto con MyMonero. Deposité una ganancia de un trading, poco más de 1 XMR en mayo de 2022. Luego me olvidé del asunto, ya que no llegaba a reflejarse mi envío. Pensé que tomaría unos días.
La transacción la hice desde KuCoin.
Luego vine a dar a un grupo de soporte en Telegram: Wookey Wallet.
Según sus explicaciones, fue que me di cuenta que la wallet de monero no funciona como las wallets de Bitcoin y otras cripto-coins o criptomonedas.
Me llevó meses avanzar en eso de ver cómo se sincroniza una wallet de monero. Finalmente instalé la wallet con monero-wallet-gui, bajada desde monero.org.
El proceso de sincronización llevó algunos días. Finalmente terminó de instalarse y sincronizarse el nodo local para leer el saldo de la wallet en cuestión. Nada.
Me comuniqué con KuCoin, ya que se requiere una Llave privada de la transacción para poder ver las cantidades en la blockchair. La respuesta fue que ellos no tienen ninguna llave privada. Me dio la impresión de que la que contestó no tiene mucha idea de eso del funcionamiento de monero.
En fin que ya lo daba por perdido. Pero según lo que dice el moderador del grupo en Telegram es que debido a la bifurcación que se llevó a cabo en Monero había problemas para leerse en Apple. Eso es lo que entendí.
Así, que hoy me decidí intentar de nuevo en una laptop vieja (una vieja Dell) que ya casi no uso, y comprobar si es cierto que para el sistema de Apple aún no es posible la sincronización.
Y con un poco de dificultades para bajar el Monero-gui, pero ya está. Ahora a esperar que se termine de sincronizar y quizás comprobar que los fondos siguen sin acreditarse. En fin, eso para que se me quite no hacer pruebas con cantidades pequeñas al utilizar algo nuevo como una wallet de una cripto que no había usado. Y más que se trata de la moneda de privacidad Monero.
Pues a esperar tal vez un par de días a que se sincronice.

I briefly share with you the experiences of how I have been dealing with the different use of the MONERO (XMR) Wallet.
This wallet I had already created since almost three years ago. But I had not made any remittance. Confident that the seed-words was enough, I logged into my wallet. I copied the address in order to deposit. And a first time I had opened it with MyMonero. I deposited a profit of one trading, a little more than 1 XMR in May 2022. Then I forgot about it, as it did not reflect my remittance. I thought it would take a few days.
I did the transaction from KuCoin.
Then, somehow I came to a support group on Telegram: Wookey Wallet.
According to their explanations, I realized that the monero wallet does not work like Bitcoin and other crypto-coins or cryptocurrencie wallets.
It took me months to advance understanding to see how to synchronize a monero wallet. I finally installed the wallet with monero-wallet-gui, downloaded from monero.org.
The synchronization process took a few days. It finally finished installing and syncing the local node to read the balance of the wallet in question. Nothing.
I have contacted KuCoin costumer service, as a Private Key of the transaction is required to be able to see the amounts in the blockchair. The response was that they do not have any private key. I got the impression that the person who answered has not much idea about how monero works.
Anyway, I was giving it up for a lost. But according to what the moderator of the group in Telegram says that due to the fork that took place in Monero there were problems to be read in Apple. That's what I understood.
So, today I decided to try again on an old laptop (an old Dell) that I hardly use anymore, and check if it is true that for Apple's system sync is still not possible.
And with a little difficulty to download the Monero-gui, but that's it. Now I am just waiting for it to finish synchronizing and maybe check that the funds are still not credited. Anyway, that to get rid of me not testing with small amounts when using something new like a wallet of a crypto that I had not used. And even more that it is the privacy coin Monero.
So I'll wait maybe a couple of days for it to sync.
