Okay, the bottom line is it didn't go well.
I started mining Monero again with my GPU 2 days earlier. First time it was with MinerGate and it was a joke, but sadly I put so much faith on MG and though I can really get the same amount of hash/s that my CPU gives. I'll keep no secret, I was getting around 60 h/s with MG!! So never mined it until now. Claymore miner plays it like a boss and gives me 730 h/s. It was like a dream come true. Then problems started to arise! I started with nanopool and later noticed that their minimum payout threshold is 0.50 monero (xmr). With 730h/s, if I run the miner even 24h/day, it'll take nearly a month to get my first payment! So much frustrating. I mine ETH and reach payment threshold every week. It's a feeling of joy and fulfillment. With Monero mining, I can't have that. Luckily, DwarfPool pays at 0.10 XMR which should take nearly 7 days to reach. Perfect. Started mining there and everything was going great, except for some rejected shares.
The party didn't last long! I don't know yet why (will try to figure out) whenever I mine Monero the computer (win 8.1) hits some error and forces to restart! Had this 3-4 times so far and it's scary. My last hard disk used to behave like this before it crashed. Mining Ethereum or Sia and dual mining showed not a single problem ever. So, until I can figure out the fixes, I'm getting back to mining ETHereum and Siacoin again :) and I love ETH <3
Thanks a lot lot lot for reading this worthless piece of horse shit! :v You are awesome! :)
