Is it hard to find a suitable network that both provide a good service and ensure the security of the users? Have you ever heard about Monet, a new architecture.
About Monet
Monet is a public network architecture for mobile blockchains and an open-source infrastructure that enables groups of people involved in any task to form temporary networks with their mobile devices and coordinate themselves without the intervention of third parties.
History
After a major financial crisis, Martin and Giacomo, the co-founders, became disappointed in the conventional financial system and started searching for alternative approaches to building such financial systems.
They came up with the ideas about decentralization and blockchain technology and then Babble consensus architecture was born.Babble was the first product in a suite of products to come.
In January 2017, the co-founders joined forces to work full-time on the idea and introduced Monet, a public network for mobile blockchains on demand.
What is its goal
Monet would like to develop a new system that eliminates the intervention of another server and provide a full-time basis for the users through 3 contracts: ID directory, Peer Discovery and Light-Clients.
Monet's component
Multiple ephemeral blockchains dynamically formed by users with their mobile devices;
Inter-Blockchain Communication, enabling these blockchains to speak to one another; and
MONET Hub — a network that provides optional infrastructure services to the first applications and ad hoc blockchains.
Monet's token
TENOM is considered as a means of transacting between ad hoc blockchains and Monet Hub. All Transactions fees within the network are paid in Tenom.
TENOM can also be used within specific apps that an ad hoc blockchain powers, where the app developers are free to use TENOM as a payment method.
