I've been on eBay a few years now and I have had many successes (and fails) but my BIGGEST success is teaching new sellers how to navigate, use and profit off the eBay platform.
eBay isn't some get rich quick scheme, I hate to break it to you, but it will include some hard work. But on the bright side that hard work can also be fun. So I bet you want to know how to earn money on eBay???
Well there isn't one set right way to go about selling on ebay there are many ways, to name but a few there is: Wholesale, Retail Arbitrage, Dropshipping etc. But the one I will be talking about today is probably the most talked about and that is Thrifting!
So What Is Thrifting?
Well, in basic terms thrifting is the act of going to somewhere like an estate sale, garage sale, thrift shop and rummaging through what others would call trash to find something of value. Sound like fun? Well it certainly is and it's addictive too. Knowing you just found a super rare video game for $1 that is selling on eBay RIGHT NOW for $50 is a real thrill, its not everyday finds like that come along but you can certainly expect it once in a while.
Getting your first thrifting fix couldn't be easier. As mentioned above great places to thrift are (clue is in the name) thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales, flea markets etc. Just simply find out where and what times these events are being held and go and get rummaging. Okay it isn't everyday you will get AMAZING finds but if you have a bit of knowledge about the stuff you are looking for whether that be video games, antiques, clothing, electronics, furniture whatever it be you are sure to find something that it worth your time to list on ebay.
So, what you waiting for choose what you are looking for and get out there thrifting it, best part is even if you don't sell it, if its something your into you keep it!
I really wanted to try this. But I’m not living in America

It isn't realistic to make a decent salary via any of the methods you mentioned. You'd be better off clipping coupons than thrifting - This guide isn't even that comprehensive either, lmao

It is hardwork but of course you can. I and many others are living proof of it. You'd be amazed at what makes money too :)

Yep, like a box of HO train track I paid $10 for and made almost $700 from, or the Ralph Lauren corduroy bear hat for a buck that made me $100! This person just doesn't want to do the work. That's okay, more for us! Right?

Very rarely do I have to deal with scammers, but you are right they do come up and returns are a pain too. But most customers are just glad to receive the item they bought :)
