About 1/6 Of Households Cannot Afford A $100,000 Home; About 2/3 Of Households Can't Afford The Average Home

in money •  3 years ago

2019 #data shows roughly 80 million households cant afford the current average house price in 2020-2021 America. THATS 2/3 OF HOUSEHOLDS !!!! Not #people.. whole households of income.... that's disgusting.

Also take into consideration 2020 median HOUSEHOLD income was $67,521 , 2.9% lower than 2019.

The insolvency cliff is coming. Democrats can't stop it because they mostly are beholden to large wealth concentrations that control their campaigns and legislation with their lobbyists, #media empires, massive resources and wealth. Republicans are slightly worse but barely enough to notice in the larger picture.

"We have one party. We have the party of essentially corporate America. It has two right wings, one called Democrat, one called Republican." - Gore Vidal
