So I am not much of an SJW buzzword type gal, but there is one very real concept that has been making its way across the stratosphere as of late and that's the pink tax!
It is the idea that companies charge more for products marketed to ladies, and it's some bullshit...I can't even escape it at my favorite thrift haunt: The Goodwill.

That would make me mad if I was a woman. There could be a supply and demand issue though.
I often get jealous that women have more options for clothes but in general it seems like women buy WAY more clothes then men. Sometimes it seems like women's clothes are cheaper but that's only at certain stores.

Except for maybe razors? (maybe it's a regional thing) The pink razors are usually cheaper. Some guys are embarrassed to buy them, but not me because I'm too scary looking to begin with.

The super cheapie razors there is a brand that is cheaper, but like the Venus razors are usually more expensive than the Gillette, and are shittier to boot. Of course the answer is just to buy the dude stuff, but as I said, that's easier said than done when it comes to clothing! 😂

Happy birthday @bethwheatcraft! Mine was yesterday, so close! End of July has so many birthdays, it's crazy. Didn't think Halloween was so romantic.
And I agree with you 100% on the pink tax. It's the same shit. Unfortunately, corporations know where they can take advantage, in this case women's fashion (men give less of a shit per capita about clothes I guess? lol). It's annoying for sure, but it's what they can get away with until someone (or a group/demographic collectively) calls them out!
Plus, I don't even get how Goodwill is a non-profit. How the hell did they get their 501(c)(3) with that kind of a model? They literally take donations and sell the clothes for profit, right? lol

Happy belated birthday! Well, in the UK I've never noticed this, but my bf never buys clothes! When he needs new shit, I just buy it from Primark, our cheapest high street shop. I buy stuff there too, we ain't fancy. Also, I don't know what our goodwill equivalent is (charity shops? They're so tiny though), but that place yer in looks awesome - love me a bargain shop
