Hey guys!
I'll talk about how to get in these big poker events all around the world spending only a few hundreds!

So, do you ever wanted to take a 7-days trip for some really cool place, play a poker tournament in some days of it, have a lot of fun and still take a shot to win big money?
I know the answer is yes, but usually packages for that are pretty expensive for most of us.

But you can win some of this packages for a few hundreds, playing online Satellites

How does it work? Let's say the event package is $4,000. Event entry, flight, accommodations, all included.
Let's say one of the online Satellites available is $400, so if 100 players enter it, 10 players will win the package no matter if they finish 1st or 10th.

That's the key, you just have to survive, avoiding big pots confrontations and always being more careful than usual!

For example, next Barcelona PokerStars Event is a €5,300 event and you can find a lot of Satellites that you can affort there in their lobby:

You can find the biggest events of the world and pick some Satellites like this:

Cool isn't it?
But how do we play these Satellites?
The answer is starting with the strategy I talked about in this previous post: https://steemit.com/money/@brnofre/pro-poker-tips-3-how-to-win-poker-tournaments

And be extra careful every time you face an all-in decision. Usually you can fold a lot when that happens, as you just want to survive. For example: 8 places paid and there are 9 players left, you have AA and you're in 5th position and some guy announces all-in and he has more chips than you. The answer is that you'll be better folding your hand, at first it seems stupid, but you have 4 players with less chips than you and you just have to survive, the risk of calling and getting cracked doesn't worth it. Of course this is an extreme case, if you have more chips than him or if you're the smallest stack you'll call it.

If you do this correctly you'll end up getting there more than you think.

I hope you liked that!
As usual if you can please re-steem and upvote I appreciate it!

I love the poker scene even if I don't understand much. It seems like a fun hobby. What would you recommend as an entry point for someone like me. Your articles are already a great source of info! ^^

You can play some freerolls, they're free tournaments can you can win a few bucks online. They are usually the best starting place. And for some knowledge I'd recommend pokerstrategy.com, read some articles, watch some instructional videos for free.
Twitch is also a good resource of knowledge and entertaining.
I'm following you now btw :)
Thanks for the reply
