I don't run into a lot of socialists in the crypto-currency community, so I will probably not make any friends talking about economic inequality, but I think this is a good idea. My local liberal rag, The Willamette Week, informed me of the decision today.

Why can't the poor and oppressed employees pool their resources. Start a competing business. And then they can pay themselves what the wish?

Sometimes that actually happens. WinCo Foods is a food co-op. They are 100% employee owned. They have clerks that retire as millionaires. I shop there regularly, even though I have to drive a bit farther than if I were to shop at a major national chain grocery store. I wish more people would do that. The problem with the old "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" argument, is some people don't have any boots. Someone making minimum wage at Wal-Mart can't even afford to feed themselves without government assistance, so how are they supposed to set aside enough to start a business?

It's not a "bootstrap" issue. It's poor people can't cooperate with each other. They barely trust their own families. Nevermind their co-workers. Try starting an investment pool with a group of folks who can't even imagine personal economic freedom. Ohhh. I've tried...

Great plan, take money from greedy CEOs and give it to the greedy state. Sounds like a good plan to drive the industry out of the city.

I smell a Libertarian troll in my yard. Didn't you see the Bernie Sanders sign on my front lawn? I'm not buying any of what you're selling. It's called "classical" economics for a reason. The concepts are so old and outdated that they are no longer compatible in a modern world. My wife's great-grandfather was the high school boyfriend of J.M. Keynes. Ever hear of him? If you think you have a prayer of selling your fantasies to me and mine, you are as delusional as the poor kids out at Galt's Gulch.

I see, so having a different opinion is trolling. Logical. You make lots of assumptions about me. You know what they say about people who make assumptions...

No, replying to three different posts on my page within the space of a few minutes is trolling. Yes, I assume a member of the crypto-community griping about the "greedy state" is a libertarian leaning individual. If you are planning to troll up every post I make, I got something for ya. Get off my lawn.

I see so disagreeing with you too much makes me a troll. Got it.

No. Digging through my blog as far back as six months, and posting a bunch of useless crap that you know I have zero chance of ever agreeing with makes you a troll.

If by digging, you mean clicking on your profile and looking at the first page of posts, I guess I was digging. Dramatic much?
