Would you like to stick it to the Fed? $2 at a time?

If you want to really stick it to the Fed, and you would like to build a tidy stockpile barely worth stealing, save your pennies, nickels, and dimes.

The Fed has to pay for coins at face value from the mint.

Here is a link that explains what is happening behind the scenes to get your fiat currency into your pocket.

https://www.federalreserve.gov/faqs/currency_12771.htm

As this clearly makes obvious, if you could get an immediate 80% profit on your product, and charge interest on loans on that product to boot, wouldn't you set up secret insider clubs to keep it that way, too?

It's not like it was rocket science, just an overwhelming urge to profit from the work of your neighbors.

It's not like we don't see that playing out on a smaller scale right here on Steemit.

I don't blame them, it is the highest sacrament of crapitalism to make money from the work of others.

Just part of the game that is played from behind the veils of your ignorance.

So, if you want to prepare for the coming economic collapse stop spending your change.

It will quickly add up to a point that stealing it is more work than it is worth.

I keep mine in a 5gal water jug, but I had to melt wax into the jug because my kid smokes, and he needs cigarettes more than he needs my respect, so if mice are getting into your stash just go to the hobby store, buy 10lbs of wax, and melt it into your jug.

When the collapse comes, plenty of folks are gonna have gold and silver, but without change to balance out your 1200usd coin against my 300usd chicken the one with the change gets the business.

This one simple act can starve the fed for money, while benefiting all of us.

The more change in your hands, the more money you have when they shut off your cards.

The banksters have to pay face value to the people's(?) mint for coins.

It will be like supporting the gov't, but at the expense of the ones' screwing up our 'good thing', rather than the taxpayer.

This is an active, non-violent, non-sticking out activism.

Everybody can do it, today.

Have a perfectly peaceful day.

Keep working, stop spending your change.   No war, but the class war!!

"He needs cigarettes more than he needs my respect." Lol.

Yeah, poor kid, smdh.
Doesn't like to follow orders, comes from a long line of it.

I was one of those kids, can't praise Mom enough today for having to brutally point me the right way.

Yeah, I wish my dad had emphasized saving small amounts each week because doing so frees you in a couple of years to do more things.
It takes money to make money.

Nice post @freebornangel

Bitcoin has created a new paradigm in the money services industry,

... but is still far removed from everyday use as payment for labor. Once that happens on a grand scale we will see just how secure it is from the "legal" paper currency creators, as we see in this post concerning alleged competition into the "Every-Day" physical realm.

Excerpt from my recent post on the Velocity of Money.

Regardless of the monitary unit we use, if it be bitcoin, metals or fiat cash, the economy runs on spending it. Just like any fluid system the infrastucture needs to be designed and the flow and pressures must be monitored and tweaked as needed to maintain a healthy and consistent velocity. We will always need to measure labor and talent and compensate it in an open and fair market; As population levels grow the need for accountable government grows with it.

Lol, tell me, if the workers do the work, could they share the products of that work as they see fit, or do they have to have money?

You know historically only shareholders benefit from the labor the laborers output but if we tax the shareholder and give them a choice to pay a high tax on their investment revenue or pay their laborers better, which one will they choose? Check out the whole post if you don't mind giving me a real criticism on my original blog, I'm an adult. Thanks.

great idea!

Tell your friends?

great idea

Interesting, I was correcting some one on their coin valuations and now I realize they may have been talking about the cost to produce while I was talking melt value.

You picked the perfect platform to rag on capitalism on, especially when you cry that you're not making capital.

How free is speech that is ignored?

I see lots of eyes and followers that don't vote.
That not voting is keeping speech down.
Not popular speech is still free.
Until it hits the gated community, huh?
Keep your free speech in the free speech zone, and then you can find support?

Hello, my name is Urma and I am Baah's caretaker

I think it's great that my little prince of the baahamas has taken an interest in this topic, it's one that should be very close to his heart.

Baah has been injured with autism due to a bad batch of the varicella vaccine and as such struggles with a few things like interacting with other people.

Please remember this when speaking with him, after all he is my little special man

I knew I liked him for some reason, and that explains it.
Autism is the next step in human evolution, they lack malice.

I'm glad he has somebody to care for him, not all of us get that.

If a man is alone in the woods with no women to hear him talk, is he still wrong when he does?

Yes.

The US gov. always bails out the banks with people's money so don't worry, banks will survive. There will still be money and fake news to tell that all is well.

Only until the people reject rule by force and Kardashian culture.

I've been saving change for years. Sad and funny about stealing it for cigarettes.

It's the system, I tells ya,...

40 years ago, my dad would say we just needed an "attitude adjustment". This resulted in a swift kick in the ass. ;)

Yeah, my dad didn't have to get the belt but a couple times and I got right with the program.
Unfortunately my kid is 32, and I missed that boat in a trainwreck of a divorce.
