I am a big fan of Bitshares and personally i have a hard time waiting until Arisebank & Bitshares start spitting out their new services, Visa cards and fiat channels.
AriseBank, the world's first decentralized cryptocurrency bank, has announced that they are in the process of acquiring 100-year old FDIC-insured bank. They have been secretive about the name, but on Thursday the published on official press release about their so called "crypto treaty" and shed some more light on the banks.
There are two banks being acquired - a 100-year old FDIC-insured bank and a 25-year old investment bank, which will serve as a bridge between Arise and the legacy bank.
What's the "Crypto Treaty" about?
Well, apparently, Arise has plans to include 13 original cryptocommunities in the new declaration of financial independence for the world. Big words, but a worthy goal nevertheless.
The 13 cryptocurrencies included in the treaty are EOS, BitShares, STEEM, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, PIVX, Stellar, IOTA, DASH, Vericoin, Lisk and ARK, and apparently 5 of the communities have already agreed to put of some of their holdings in order to help acquire the 100-year old bank.
Any large accounts doing powerdowns recently? ;)
The exact treaty is currently unknown, but according to AriseBank's spokesperson, Eddy Taylor, its based on the highest principles and best practices of the cryptocommunities.

Thanks for the info - it will help many avoid the crazy fees of trading coin into bitcoins and then selling it somewhere for fiat and then getting that fiat to their banks. Especially now that visa are doing troubles to Xapo and other companies, we need an institute so powerful that no games or tricks by traditional fiat companies will work against.
Good for me that I have most of the coins mentioned and that I absolutely power up everything I get here on steem ;)
