One of my favorite coins, the almighty Litecoin, has not been faring so well in recent times. In fact, all coins have been taking a beating, but amidst the horrible bear market, that affects thousands of late or slow investors, developers are actually cheering.
With cheaper prices, adopting the cryptocurrencies for various uses comes easier. And Litecoin is no exception here.
After obtaining a bank, Litecoin has refused to go off the radar and has been in the news with various ventures.
According to recent developments, Litecoin can be now sent via Telegram and SMS! Note: According to Charlie Lee, the sending via SMS functionality is not ready yet.
On August 9th, Charlie Lee tweeted out:

Whats the goal here? Well, many countries do not have full internet coverage, but almost everyone has a cell-phone today. Additionally. lite.im will make it easy to send Litecoin to people whose wallet address is unknown to you, making spreading those cool Litecoins easier.
