What's going on in China and Coinbase has a neat service coming up

Good morning traders! Aa new week filled with opportunities lies ahead of us, so let's head to the markets and news.

What's going on with China?

Almost everyone is familiar with the FUD coming from China, the government banning domestic cryptoexchanges, all crypto trading websites and ICO-s.

Apparently the PBOC (People's Bank of China), their Central Bank, has taken the attitude of completely eradicating various cryptocurrency flows. But could they succeed? Definitely not. Let's see why.

At the same time all this FUD is spreading, another reality is actually happening in China. Mobile giant Cheetah has released a crypto wallet for their massive userbase of 600 mil users! Shenzhen luxury car dealers are offering McLarens and Ferrais for sale for Bitcoin, BCH anf Ethereum. There's more! Ripple is moving up with it's business in China, striking partnerhips and starting ventures.

So it's safe to say, many of us on the other side of Earth probably have no idea, what's the 100% true story going on in China, but one thing is clear - it's impossible to stop the progress.

Something else, that i picked up:

Coinbase has launched a service, that enables merchants to accept payments from crypto wallets. The payment option can seamlessly be integrated between the other payment options, just like Paypal, Credit Card and others.

Apparently you don't even need a Coinbase account, rather a cryptocurrency wallet, a quick finger to send the funds and get to the confirmation screen. I didn't find any way to test it currently, but the author of the story makes a fine point, that this service would explicitly shine and stand out with ETH payments, where we can have a Metamask browser plugin wallet and send the payment + confirmation with just a few clicks. This is one to keep your eyes on - we need a lot more ways to spend our cryptos easily on everyday goods and services.

The website for Coinbase Commerce can be found here, which states that they "are not open for new sign-ups yet"
