The 2 Most Immature Crypto Investors

in money •  7 years ago  (edited)

We've all heard of FOMO and FUD but there are two investors I hate with a passion. The Scam Coin Proclaimer and the FOMO Instigator. Let's start with the Scam Coin Proclaimer.

This is very popular in the crypto markets and with good reason - there are a lot of scam coins and pump and dumps. My issue lies with the people that have what I call "electronic balls". I'm somewhat active in the social circles of coins and when I say active, I mean I read the commentary.

There's a growing trend among traders that will not like the outcome of a milestone in a coin's progress, call it a scam, and spread FUD. They always seem to say that the developers are silent and that they don't answer questions because they're "bots", yada yada yada and what I've noticed is the developers really are there and respond to questions if you're mature enough to not show electronic balls and talk shit.

If you're not mature enough to understand that there are large percentage gains and losses that don't necessarily work out the way you'd like, or that you're pessimistically attacking developers because you don't like their responses or when they give them, then maybe you should fuck off and invest in stocks because this is not for you.

We all want that trophy fish but to blindly call something a scam just because you're holding thousands of coins that you bought at all time highs after FOMOing into it just means that you're pissed that you make horrible decisions. Like I said, invest in the stock market and see how you like never being able to ask developers questions on an open forum unless you own enough to be invited to their conventions.

Next, and my second most hated investor is the FOMO Instigator. These are the people that will come at you telling you that you NEED to buy into something or you'll regret it. This coin is going to be the next big thing! Then they offer no supporting evidence but assure you that you'll see 10x gains on a coin that's already sitting at a 2 billion dollar market cap.

Seriously? Do you understand economics at all? That would mean that it would have to reach a 20 billion dollar market cap. I'm REAL bullish on crypto but it's easier for a coin with a 10 million dollar market cap to see a 10x gain than one with a 2 billion market cap in the same time span. Almost every single coin I've been introduced to by people like this have seen drastic decreases and now they're the same ones spreading the FUD and calling them "Scam Coins".

Y'all seriously need to Fuck off.
