Canada issued it's first silver dollar in 1935. These are the 6 different designs
They are all 80% silver content and weight 0.6 oz Troy
Above is the 1939 version with a picture of Parliament Hill
This the 1949 ship dollar, perhaps my favorite of all the 6 different designs. I love the ocean!
Above is the Voyageur design. It is the longest running design and the standard for the Canadian silver dollar. It features natives paddling a canoe symbolizing the fur trade era. The rays in the back are the aurora borealis or the "northern lights" as they are called
Above is the 1967 centennial dollar with the Canada Goose. It's commemerating Canada's 100th birthday
Lastly we have the Charlottetown/Quebec commemerative design. It's celebrating the year those two provinces were formed.
Below is a picture of the different reverses
I hope u enjoyed seeing the 6 different 80% Canadian dollars. Have a great day!

Nice, I think I have a few of those in my collection too. Really like the weight of silver coins. It feels so much more different then holding those modern coin made of steel clad.
