Rod Parsley Taught His Congregation About the Corrupt Banking System.

This video goes back to before the birth of Bitcoin and Crypto Currency. I wonder what he would have to say about it? My guess is that he would approve of trustless money that was freely transacted from peer to peer.

For my followers I have to admit that I spent two years attending this church. Rod Parsley was a pretty cool preacher. Educating the congregation was something that he did quite often. I ended up in Columbus because I thought I wanted to be a preacher. That lasted about half a semester at the bible college.

After quitting bible college I did continue to volunteer in the youth group for almost two years. Spending time in that atmosphere was one more piece of my Anarchist puzzle. I quickly decided that organized religion was not for me. You won't often here me talk about religion.

Interesting account of what went on in your life... I have some similarities in my own history as well. Haven't attended church for a decade now - they are filled with wolves in sheep's clothing - and false prophets. The Christian faith has been so badly twisted in these settings that it's barely recognizable.

Now celebrity super pastors have grabbed the spotlight with their watered-down message and insatiable greed. The 'unpardonable sin' is now refusing to tithe.

And, yes, youth group is a three-ring circus, pure silliness.

It was a huge joke but I do miss the social aspect sometimes. Now I have my crypto community here in Panama. Youth group was amazing for me, some of the best times ever were when I got to help out the kids.

Very powerful insight on the banking system.

That explains so many things for me, thanks for the clarification

I'm right there with you on "organized religion." I was raised Catholic and after seeing the garbage that "organized religion" tries to explain away and justify... I honestly believe that so many people have a negative concept of God because of those "organized religions." Good on you for taking your red pills when they presented themselves. :)

It's about time someone did fantastic, cheers mike

The matrix is one hell of place to be in.

I also came to the conclusion that organized religion was not for me.

I'm guessing you actually read the Word for yourself. That's why organized poops don't want you reading the bible.
Can't get very far into it and not come away with that awakening. That feeling you always had inside too.
Pray by yourself in quiet and don't put on a show. Or pray with others in agreement with his Word.
No more slave cult(ure)s

This is fanfreakingtastic @hilarski! Thanks for sharing...

I never heard of him. thanks for sharing

"...one more piece of my Anarchist puzzle." I am gathering pieces of my puzzle also. I like how you expressed this.

"I quickly decided that organized religion was not for me." No matter how good the intent of the members / organizers may be, it always ends up being another form of a multi-level marketing scheme. Sorry if stomped on too many toes there

Wow! Crazy! Sounds about right though.

Amazing video.. very true the real issue is a global financial system only benefits the wealthy elite at the expense of the masses. Government enforces high rates of taxation, at the same time providing loopholes for the rich and savvy to exploit, leaves the poor and middle class paying most of the taxes. Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency offers a truly equitable monetary system, one that is far more difficult to bend. Future of money is BITCOIN.

End The Fed!

Audit first. Average Joe's don't know yet. Show them how they are mugged daily then maybe...
But I'm with you.

I too flirted with the thought of becoming a preacher. I spent one semester at Southern Theological Seminary (Baptist) in Louisville KY. Yeah, not for me either. "Religion" (man's attempts to reach God) has become somewhat of a four letter word for me.

Having said that, we did eventually find a like-minded congregational church absent the guilt messages and rule following. They are out there, if you look. We specialize in rescuing those abused by religion - Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, whatever.

I probably don't have to remind you of the way Jesus felt about the religious leaders that He had to deal with.

I saw this a couple of years back. Flat out blew my mind. I think it was great that he used his platform in this manner. Many "clergy" don't have the stones to call out things like this for what they are.

Resteeming this.

Good stuff!

I watched Rod for awhile. The man is flawed. He spoke the truth. He sounded trustworthy when he spoke from the Word. But then he is a man. And IMO he sold out on the touring evangelist route like all great rockers. Lost his roots and lives in the world like the rest of us.

I love this video. <3

That is the cruel reality and you can see how nothing has changed or at least not for the better. Cryptocurrencies are our saviours and I just hope these people of power are powerless infront of the blockchain.

As far as the comments on here regarding whether Rod Parsley is a stand up guy or a total scumbag I think both points are superficial at best.

The main take away I got from this is:
The guy had the ear of thousands people who respect his opinion and he took an opportunity to throw the FED under the bus.
His message in this particular instance was spot on and true.

Bam!

hehe amazing words at that time

Those dirty banksters!

I agree that organized religion is not for me also. I would rather go by the scriptures themselves.

I watched this some time back, I used to watch Pastor Rod on TV few years ago. I loved his sermons,he is one of a kind. Am sure he approves of cryptocurrency :)

The Government probably made him pay taxes from now haha

Frankly I don't trust anything most preachers say, they are in it for the money, this guy has a net worth of over 2.2 million dollars, and I once read a saying that I have always remembered, if a preacher has more than the poorest of his followers, don't trust him. And I bet not all of his followers are worth more than 2.2 million.

I am not into organized religion but I challenge your thinking respectfully. A person can have a good word of encouragement for people, help them, and still make good money having his own business or another job besides his pastor duties. Jesus said the poor will always be with you. Meaning that some ppl will always be poor because they lack discipline, etc. So, if you have a drunk who never works in your congregation and always spend every penny on booze, the preacher isn't allowed to have a penny because of the lifestyle of an unwise addict in his church? And addicts have been abundant in today's church. What about the pastors who minister to the homeless, orphans, etc. Are they not allowed to have a home or family either? How far does this line of thinking go? Just a thought and challenge, not trying to offend.

Do you know the part where he tells the rich man to give everything away and follow him? I don't think I need to say more.

Absolutely, I know that scripture. Did you realize that he said that to a rich, young ruler, not a preacher? Lots of ppl don't acknowledge the fact that he told this to one particular person, not everyone. I think it's weird that ppl miss the point. Not everyone is a lover of money/things (addicted to money/stuff). So, a person without resources can't help others who are lacking also. I read a book that talks about a preacher who was powerful in The Lord and he fed lots of starving but didn't give himself enough food. So, he dies and the starving ppl are there now left with no one to feed them. See, the poor will always be with you. If Jesus says to YOU give it all, you'd better give it all. He said it's hard for a rich man to enter into Heaven but not impossible. In others words rich ppl aren't bound to Hell just because they have resources. The Lord looks at the heart not the physical. It seems the rich young ruler loved his possessions more than The Lord. This is obvious. One time I had 2 vehicles, one for me and one for my husband. We had 2 little babies. On our way to church one day, we saw a lady walking down the street carrying groceries. We picked her up and took her home. She told us she had 5 kids and needed to get groceries. After we dropped her off, we decided we would give her our best car because she was in more need than us, right? We went on to church and prayed The Lord would show is if we were thinking the right way, even though this is really what we wanted to do. Before we got back home we felt confident giving her our car was not The Lord. The next day, our other car broke down and we were already struggling and scraping by. My husband would have had no way to get to work, etc., if we had given that lady our car. I don't know why she was in that situation, who knows maybe she sold her car for drugs and would have done the same with ours. We learned a valuable lesson that day, being generous and giving is great when The Lord is in it but if He's not we could be killing ourselves or enabling addicts. It should always be about what He tells us not what someone with a religious mindset says. I have been homeless and understand that the less I have, the less I can help. Thanks for bringing up that scripture. One of my favorite vloggers has been taking that out of context, too. 👀

Look, I think getting into a religious debate is not for me, just google Mr. Rod Parsley and see what kind of lifestyle he lives, then get back to me, oh and it's all from the church he leads. These guys are con men.

I know who Rod is and I am not defending him or coming against him. I do try to give when The Lord tells me to and if He tells me to give to Rod, I will, but I won't if He doesn't want me to. He looks at their hearts. I just have to trust Him and sometimes that's been hard, but that's part of following Him. Ya know. ☺Thanks @gduran for your responses. ☺Have a great day!

"he tells the rich man to give everything away and follow him? "

That was not a prescription indicating that wealth keeps a person from going to Heaven. 1 Timothy 6:10 states that, "For the love of money is the root of all evil." Money is not evil in and of itself. The evil is in loving money (or anything else) more than one loves God, which makes that thing an idol. Having wealth doesn't keep one from entering Heaven, but because of man's sin nature most people are too susceptible to greed to not love money more than God once they acquire a large quantity of it because they are short-sighted enough to think that money is salvation.

Like many of you have stated here, I agree that organized religion too often is a failure. However, I have been blessed enough to have discovered a church that understands that it's purpose is not to milk the congregations wallet, but rather to see that an honest effort is made to help each person attending understand their opportunity to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that the church is only there to facilitate that through fellowship and worship. After having given up on "organized religion" decades ago I stumbled upon a church that "gets it" and it has made all the difference. There are also others out there, though few and far between. It's worth keeping an open mind about it.

Matthew 19:24
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." We've got to get one thing straight either Jesus meant what he was saying or it is all up to how each individual wants to interpret his word. When he said a parable he explained its meaning, I take it when he didn't explain something it was meant to mean exactly what he said.
And of course money can't be evil, it is a material thing, no soul that I know of, so it is the human being who is wicked for example a preacher who lives the high life by preaching what he doesn't live.

If you think I was defending "a preacher who lives the high life by preaching what he doesn't live," then you didn't understand anything about my reply at all. That is not what I said.

Ok, I didn't understand, now let me know what you think about the first part of my answer to you.

Just don't make the mistake of discarding the Word away with the vessel or man or woman.
Never trust a man. Always trust the Word. Use discernment. You can still learn from someone you disagree with or see has choose a poor path. Take what you can use and leave the rest. But I would't get sucked in by him. God's job to judge him.

@hilarski,
This is the 1st time I heard about him. Thanks for sharing your experience with us! Really appreciate it!

Cheers~

Inflation (which results mostly from the printing of money) is often called the hidden tax. it's almost theft really : by printing X amount of dollars/euros/etc , you effectively take away that same amount from the people that owned the given currency before that...

It is distressingly true. That piece of paper has no value at all.
In no shape or form is it supposed to be able to recreate something like having a silver dollar or resources with actual value such as gold.
We are slaves to the state. We are like livestock and the bankers are the farmers.
They give us what we want to satisfy us so we can follow the herd but to be able to wake up and leave this repressive regime: you have to leave the farm to see it.

Cool

Lets put an end to corrupt centralised banking system by supporting With Peer 2 Peer transactions.
and talking about religion, glad you realised that someone's organised reliigon was not right for you. It's very personal journey

Thank you for sharing. Very interesting. In my opinion, crazy FED monetary policy really took off after 1971, when Nixon remove Gold Standard. Since than, FED can print how much they want.

:O It's a crazy video!

Great post my friend. Thanks for sharing :)

Wow great video, I am also teaching and exposing many people to this corrupt system but it is so difficult for people to believe.

Thanks for sharing

The most black hearted women I have ever met were in a bible study group I was once in many years ago. That young adults group was just a meat market, and it was brutal. There were some seriously evil people there. The pastor made a pass at me one day too. No thanks! Man, we could talk about stuff like that for hours over some adult beverages... or not. haha

Thank you for sharing this amazing video!!
