Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) - The central and regulatory bank of Nepal - has finally announced on 13th Aug 2017 that operation of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrency is illegal in the country of Nepal.
The notice followed illegal activities and networking business done in cash in the person with Gravity Coin on the country. Even though Bitcoins was never legal in Nepal, there was multiple companies for Bitcoin exchange in country - many of them now shutdown.
