Time Is Money But No Money Can Return Your Time

Time and money are, without question, inextricably linked. Albert Einstein's purported declaration that "compound interest is the most powerful force in the universe" lends credence to that notion. Heck, one of the fundamental concepts in finance is even called the time value of money.

Nevertheless, time is the only truly scarce resource. If one errs financially, they can potentially recover their losses given an adequate time period. Sans time, however, the opportunity is forever lost.

The upshot? We must treasure our time because time is a resource more precious than any treasure.
