U.S. Government Agency Becomes the First to Accept Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash for the Payment of Taxes

Nearly 500 000 citizens in the District of Semenol of Florida will be able to pay the property taxes about bitcoin or bitcoin cash, since next month.

Joel Greenberg (on a photo), recently elected collector of taxes for the county, has told that inhabitants will be able to pay in addition identifiers or registration plates in bitcoin or bitcoin  cash under the agreement with BitPay.

 “We live in a world where technology has made access to services on demand, with same-day delivery and the expectation of highly efficient customer service and we should expect the same from our government,”  Greenberg said before  

Taxpayers hope to save on collecting as banks or payment service providers usually raise 2% up to 3% while at BitPay the fixed collecting of 1% and without collection of a payment for the first million dollars.

Besides, BitPay offers an opportunity to convert instantly crypto into dollars therefore the final dealer, in this case the country, avoided volatility, receiving dollars.

It is the first time in America and, perhaps, even around the world that the bitcoin and bitcoin  cash on payment of taxes.

Two cryptos have about 100 000 sellers who are ready to accept them if it is no more, but the government accepting them for payments is something very new and really speaks about this new stage which had included kryptons.
