This was also my first impression when I discovered steemit. Most popular posts were about hot girls, people sharing life stories or information about steemit. My hope is that steemit is barely in its infancy phase and it will evolve. I would love to see more popular stories about politics or gaming for exemple. I guess it's up to us to make it change :)
