Procrastination
When we think of procrastination, we most of the time think of something bad. Procrastination is often something that distracts us from finishing work and make our lives just a little bit harder, for specific people. Those who procrastinate a lot may find it harder to get good grades in school, or finish important work projects.
So, Procrastination is really a problem, and the term "i'll do it tomorrow" is too commonly used. But what if i told you that procrastination could also be a really good thing. Something that could help you save a lot of money.
Procrastination when it comes to money
The new Iphone X just launched. I can see it on your face that you want it really bad, even tho your old Iphone 7 works just fine. So, you decide to head to the store and buy it. BOOM! 1000$ just flew away. In this scenario you didn't procrastinate at all. You barely even thought about it before actually buying the Iphone X.
Here's where procrastination comes into place. If you said to yourself: "Maybe i should wait and think about if the Iphone X is worth buying until tomorrow?". So, tomorrow or any other day in the future (the time it took you to think about if it was worth buying) you wake up and realize that buying the Iphone X isn't the best investment ever, and that your current phone still works just fine. And BOOM! You didn't waste 1000$ on something you actually didn't need in the first place, but was so excited about when it just got released.
So start procrastinating!
With this i don't want you to start procrastinating in normal day life, work or school. But you should really procrastinate when it comes to saving money. Taking a couple of days to think about if something is worth buying could save you a lot of money in the long term. Implement this into your life right now and i know that it will make a big difference. Because the more you wait to buy something, the more unsure you become if it's actually worth buying.
