If you don't know anything about the baseball players and who they are matching up against daily, you are at an extreme disadvantage.
MLB.com has many great sections for finding team and player stats.
Make sure you check out:
(1) Hitter vs. Pitcher matchups (recent history, mathcups against lefties/righties
(2) Opposing Pitcher ERA, WAR and GB/FB
(3) Hot/cold streaks for each player
3. Make your decision and Beat The Streak!
Pick your player or DoubleDown and pick 2 (note: if one of your two DoubleDown picks fails to record a hit, you will have to restart your streak back at 0).
No one has yet to beat the 56 hits in a row, not even on Beat The Streak.

I have been playing that for the past 3 years and haven't reach up to 40 consecutive hits in a row....the most is 40 in the 1st year, 32 in the 2nd year and 26 in the 3rd year....
