Hi Greg, as much as I respect you. Calling for a flagging campaign isn't a good idea. This sort of thing usually doesn't turn out well, take it from me. Again, I'm a big fan and wishing you all the best.

Thank you for your opinion on at least attempting to make steemit a place where all opinions are heard. Greg has even flagged posts at my personal blog that made no mention of him at all. I'd be happy to have a discussion with Greg but he won't allow it...as he does not believe in an "open" forum.

I have been asking these guys to please stop for months. I have offered them friendship, build their channels, offered to help them in any way they want however they will not stop. Not just on Steemit, but on all my social networks. These guys have cursed out, and bad mouthed hundreds of my subs for months. Despite this I have asked told them I hold nothing against them and let's stop but they will not. I see you gave him a protective upvote. That's fine, but you should consider, or at least know better, who you are protecting.

If I knew that everyone who follows Greg had a complete understanding of the type of trading he does then I likely would go mind myself. My biggest problem with the way "the program" was being presented was that it could have made Greg's followers actually think trading options is as easy as he makes it seem. He wasn't providing "disclosure" on teh trades he was posting so that people could actually find out whehter it was easy or not. I simply offered to provide a glimpse into the "real" world of that kind of trading. I understand that 90% of Greg's listeners are going to remain loyal even if he was the worst trader in the world. For the 10% that "actually" want to learn the way options trading "really" is...well let's get to the "learning" part and cut through the bs. My blog is always available to anyone who wants to see how things happen in teh "real" world of options trading. I won't say "I'm doing great!"...if in fact I actually am not. And you will know exactly where I stand at all times. Because I give full disclosure on every trade or trade setup. This shit really isn't that difficult.

You're a user with a massive following. Calling for a flagging brigade is an abuse of your influence.
I don't care if they're trolls or not, flagging brigades shouldn't be rallied like this. Period.
Have a major issue with trolls, spammers, etc? Talk about it. Without calling for your followers to go out and flag someone for you. Inform people without instructing (or hint-hint-nudge-nudging) them to act.
It's an abuse of your power as an influential member of the Steemit community.

Hey, Greg. I'm glad to hear that you have solved the issues with @traderglen and @joejustjoe . You know, I have been following you on YT for some time already, and then you were the one who brought me to steemit. I'm grateful for that.
But it saddened me to see you call for a flagging jihad. You know, in a war there are no winners, only losers and scorched earth.
You may remember, I'm not a trader, so I cannot judge how good your recommendations are. I listen to you for your overall view on things, and on that I usually agree with you. And most of all it convinces me, that you are not asking for money. The usual subscription fee for newsletters and such, like many other do.
However, people have also the right to disagree, as long as it happens in a respectful way. May be you should have more faith in your "lions", we can make our decision on how to view criticism towards you.
Well, its good you and the 2 guys are now talking reasonably. Because there are more than enough other things going on at the moment that need our attention.

Even more so? The people that are so quickly jumping to action.
This is dangerous.
Can we please not turn Steemit into a Reddit clone? Real money is on the line here. People's potential livelihoods. We all need to keep that front and center in our minds whenever we even consider pressing that flag.

No. But you already can hear my side of the story by visiting Greg's video set he posted today about options trading. I listened to the entire first video and gave some insight on a point Greg failed to cover...the destruction of value by time decay in options trading. My spews weren't flagged all day...maybe they are now. For some reason he decided to come to my blog and start flagging my commentary...even though I didn't even mention him at all. I don't gt it. I even told Trader Glen earlier that I was thinking that it wasn't Greg, but one of his high rated followers doing it. Then Greg admitted it was him. Can't say I was "shocked!" But it definitely isn't something who claims to be a "professional" trader would do.

I made some very helpful spews on Greg's blog about "options trading 101" today. Investigate, and then tell me what I am doing wrong. I don't mind being censored at his place actually. But he is now ruining the progression of new trades I am posting at my personal blog. I'd like to be able to let my followers see things in a clear and orderly fashion. I can't do that because of Greg. I hope it stops but if it doesn't that's fine too. Greg is a slick character. I have seen him do and say some disturbing stuff. I have been following Greg since 2013. He came on to my radar when he was telling his subs to get out of stocks and buys silver 2011- to date. Anyone who took his actionable investment advice was financially ruined. I just pointed this out to Greg and was labeled a troll. Greg ties to come of like the boy next door, but that was far from it when he made fun of retarded people, by mocking another youtuber who has a thick Jewish NY accent. Greg made a video and acted retarded, using a Jewish NY accent. Anyone who has a family member, who is mentally challenged would have not found that video endearing. True I am spamming the comments. however, Greg censors my videos where I have no voice. Greg is blocking free speech. His tactics remind me something out of Saul Alinskys (Rules For Radicals) book.

I have a different view than Greg. But it´s not trolling. Greg is not what he pretends to be. At the August lows of 2013 Greg told his subs to get out of stocks 100% and put it all into silver. Anyone who took his actionable investment advice was totally blown out of the water. When I asked Greg about this he did the same he is doing now. He said I was trolling him. I basically commented to him I believed he was wrong and the markets could go much higher and silver into the teens. But Greg is still the "expert". The only time I was a bear and he was a bull was at the December 2015 highs. Greg was telling his subs to buy the indices December highs, because the market was going higher. I made a comment I believe the market looked weak and would not look to buy at all. Again I was labeled a troll. I even followed Greg´s trades, made a youtube video on it, I could not recreate the success he was claiming at the time. My paper account was down following Greg. Again I asked Greg what´s going on. Labeled a troll. All I want is honest answers to my question. Greg always labels me and gets aggressive towrds me. Instead he should just man up and have an open and honest conversation.

I will tell you why if you eitehr set up a new blog dedicated to it, or I will set one up. I will answer all of your questions. Why not find out the "real" reason, greg? You can always just carry on with what you are doing no matter what. I will answer every question as I am open and honest in all my dealings. It will truly surprise me if you reveal yourself thru our conversation though. You need to understand that very few people are following you into these trades you are posting anyway. The volumes on the options contracts you are choosing are so low in many cases that if there is anyone trading it is likely only one person. I'm "hoping" that's you, Greg. But if nothing else the "facts' show that you really have "zero' to lose. Your followers will still follow. Is this the kind of thing you would feel comfortable discussing?Ask me anything, greg. I have nothing to fear...nothing to hide. :-)

Cool. So let's start with the "obvious" question. And thank you for being a man and unflagging my new SLV trade at my blog btw. We can get along, Greg. And I bet your viewrs will learn something new too. Anyway. When trading options correct timing of your entry is all important as you know. For your viewers to get a "realistic" glimpse of the trade you are "actually" making., why do you not just post the price paid for each of the trades you post at your web blog? I'll let you answer and then you can ask me one. :-)

I do not think it is important actually. Moreover, by the time another trader looks at the price, it will/can change depending on if the asset gained or lost. Yes, let me know when you have time because I would definitely like to follow up on your response. ...using you SLV trade you posted last Fri. You can take some time and study the options volumes and pricing for that particular day as you will likely need that information to quantify what you just said about "prices changing constantly" during the day. With that particular $14 Sept expiry SLV put vs call pair. You have the first question when you get back. I'll follow up after I reply to you. We can take this as slowly as you'd like. I have lots of questions. Hope you don't mind. :-) Have a great evening, Greg. The good news is that I don't believe that any of the scenarios I outlined at my blog about bitcoin, silver, gold, the VIX, the RUT 2000 (which is the one major index that never traded to and thru its previous 52 week high)...any of that stuff I outlined will get set up "properly" until late afternoon. So at least you "know" I won't "troll" you until then. Should be a nice "relaxing" day for you, Greg. Cept forr "maybe" the silver trade. I won't pick on you if you wuz wrong...promise. :-)

We do not troll Greg. I have called you out on your horrible actionable investment advice. People following your most famous calls have lost money. Remember your famous August 2013 call your financial advisor and tell your advisor to get you 100% out of stocks and 100% into silver. Yea, you called me a troll after I asked why the market was going to crash at the august lows in 2013. The SPX is up 49% , silver is currently down 33% and at the dec 2015 lows you would have been down 45%. All I have ever asked was for proof you are taking the trades you say you are and post your success in a P&L statement. I would follow every one of your trades if you showed your calls were profitable. While your silver call could end up profitable. How many years do your subs have to stay underwater until that happens. You really have thin skin Greg.
Have a wonderful day,
Sincerely, Glen

Greg like @neoxian said, calling a flagging campaign is such a bad idea. Your content readers are still entitled to state a view and you are also entitled to ignore.
For the ones that disagree with greg, just don't view his content or trade his on advices, SIMPLE? Going into his business and trying to ruin him etc is just low. You don't go into someone's house and attempt to rearrange their furnitures just because you don't like his arrangement, thats just low.
PS: I am not a follower on his trades or advices, trading requires your own time, effort and understanding. I will never follow anyone's trade, simple. (I only view his/other traders content, if I need an alternate view to think about.)
And come on @traderglen you are plain annoying. You come into a random post of mine and drop your link into my comment section, when your nonsensical drama has 0 link to any of the content I posted(Would had pitied you a bit before you done that)

Censorship is against my values as an American. I hope you'll understand. Can't you just ignore him, or mute him?

It is not censorship. These people are abusing this platform. If you are ok with that well ok then. I did mute these guys but they continue to harass my followers big time. I offered them friendship, offered to build their channels, but they will not stop. Not just here, but all my social networks.

A) he can just create a new account and troll you again and again, thus it will be an endless cycle. B) attracting trolls is proof of your success. I wish I was so popular that I had trolls. C) You're not offering me "friendship and to build my channel" but you offered it to him as a bribe, to stop trolling. That's like bribing a child to behave with candy. That will just cause them to miss behave, so you'll up the reward to another bribe. D) Some people just want to watch the world burn. You can't save people from themselves. I'm sure the trolls are miserable in their lives. Don't let them make you miserable too.

I don't "troll" Greg because I am jealous of the following he has. I think even Greg realizes that. The thing is that he knows the reason I "troll" him...and that's something he will likely never admit to. I accepted an offer he made to TraderGlen to have a one on one discussion. Since I was also a subject of his flagging campaign I hope Greg is man enough to agree to the offer he himself extended. We shall see.

Please read my post. I am not a troll. I have just pointed out Gregs horrible track record. Greg calls it trolling. I call it it social media with a different vantage point. Greg now wants to control steemit and what you can say. Greg says he is all about free speech. But that is far from it. Please keep an open mind, for there are always two sides to a coin! I must concur, this can be a double edged sword. However I hate trolls & the BS they can cause. It's most unnecessary name callin etc. as trolls often do, proceed with caution & know I stand with you in this cause. I thank you for your generosity with advise & sharing your positions with us so we may all rip the face off this market. On a personal note I pray your working on an Evolution system for cryptos :)

Greg I'd like to start out by saying, you are a good man. You have given much economic advice to many people, helped us see the direction of the markets and the intent and vision of the feds best you could. For that I thank you and I am sure your followers do as well. However on upon this subject it is quite clear you are frustrated and not one can blame you for that.
Bad advice from others, opposing advice or view points and out right fighting against you will -always- be present. Sadly they will play games with you and point out that you're the one becoming angry/incoherent and they are not at fault. This Is part of the game, an art of trolling and more importantly discrediting someone. You have the right to ignore them and if your loins ask you for guidance and advice correct miss information given by your dissenters.
What you should never do is give into to their goading, their attempts to discredit you. You get angry you call for your lions, they win and you don't look good. They do have the right to speak and post and if they are targeting you so be it. However instead of falling to their level of childish behavior of stulking and goading you should. Continue instead being the strong capable fellow you are. Show your endurance and they will break upon your integrity. Or at the very least their voices won't sound as loud and stressful. After all if what you said is true, now their are trying to build off of your notoriety, their own straw huts of some notable stature.
In closing, I am sure you have heard this before however it's worth repeating in this case. Be the bigger man unless they attempt to do more than just troll your posts. Keep us updated, keep a sound mind and keep doing what your best at, you have plenty of supporters whom will continue to do so indeed be well.

Long time follower Greg. Nobody follows your trading pics from day to day you throw grass in the air to see which way things are blowing and by the time anyone gets them its too late. People watch you for the entertainment value.

There is a difference between trolls and constructive criticism. You can ignore them or you can defend your trading reputation against their claims.
You should not try to silence them unless they are making personal attacks or threats. Everyone has a right to free speech.

Good to hear, perhaps admit your trading mistakes more often, none of us can truly know if you are winning or losing over the long run same as everyone on youtube including David Stockman and Jim Rickards, people just have to make up their own mind about what is good advice.
Let's all move on and get our heads back in the game and trade well! I appreciate your videos but I do think you need to start wearing pants lol. Christ gold is down again, lord have mercy!
