Mobile Mining Crypto

Cryptocurrencies are gaining in awareness and acceptance. Crypto coins, such as Bitcoin, are mined using an algorithm and computing power, which uses electricity. The ability to get the coins is intentionally made harder as more coins are gained. This requires greater electrical power cost. It is to the point that mining as a way of obtaining most coins requires expensive hardware and high power bills. This creates barriers for most people to get into crypto mining.

Mobile cryptocurrency is not drawing on a long history, with Electroneum and Phoneum being somewhat established, and MIB coin and the Pi project now making inroads.
Getting started in mobile mining is very easy. Generally, the download of an app nets you the miner and the wallet. The exception is MIB, which requires two downloads. It’s also easy to set and forget the miners in the background in most cases. With Electroneum, Phoneum and Pi, you can automatically mine but have to renew your activity at certain intervals. MIB is again an exception in that you have to keep the miner up and dedicated in order to continuously earn.
Like all cryptocurrencies, the ultimate value of these coins will depend on speculation, utility perception and trust. Many may never realize a potential. That said, risk is low to get in now, and there is very low power cost and device wear due to the miniscule energy requirements.
