Trading Time For Money – The Employee Mindset
Most people, about 90% of the worlds working population, have an employee mindset. They work for someone else trading their time for an hourly wage.
Time is limited and wages are too.
For unlimited earning potential it makes sense that this mindset just will never work.
There are only 24 hours in a day. The maximum you would work would sit somewhere between 8 and 16. You will only every get paid for those hours. Most jobs pay a rate of close to minimum wage. The high paid salary jobs may pay you a capped annual salary. Which is also limited and is not affected by your efforts or results.
Trying to get these high paid salary or even hourly wages is a very difficult task. When the majority of the population are trying for the same thing.
So what is the alternative?
The sales rep has unlimited earning potential but is still limited by the number of sales they make alone. And this is dependent upon the person’s ability to sell.
Is there yet another alternative?
Yes.
Business owners have unlimited earning potential and can outsource or gain from the efforts of others. In today’s digital world it has never been easier to start an online business. Yes it takes some know-how and yes you will need training. These are a whole new set of skills to acquire. It is possible.
A low cost online business would be one which sells digital products, like training information. It has unlimited earning potential and is not paid by the hour.
More to come…..
I really found this interesting since it exposes the truth behind society's expectations and actual reality of our workplaces
