MAKE MONEY WITH TRASHED WALMART RECEIPTS
I know your probably wondering what the hell i'm talking about here and when I heard about this for the first time a few months back I thought it was a bit strange myself. This post is to help people like myself, the nine to fivers who barely can scrape together two nickels but still want a little money to buy presents for your family, Crypto , Pay your bills, Beer, Tacos. You get the point, so how do you go about getting money for Walmart receipts? Well the first thing you will need to do is download the Walmart app on your phone (assuming you own a smart phone). Create an account , once created you will find the Walmart Savings Catcher in the app. This allows you to submit seven receipts by either scanning them or entering the numbers at the bottom. Once you do this Walmart will take the next two or three days and will compare the prices of what was purchased on the receipt with prices in your area at competing stores. Once Walmart has found a price that is lower Walmart will give you the price difference on the App which you can then either send to your Bluebird account or Redeem as an Egift card for Walmart purchases. To my knowledge you cannot spend the money outside Walmart, I have not attempted to use a BlueBird account yet so I am not sure if that would change anything. Never the less if you spend your Egift card on things you already need, then that is more money in your pocket for things you may want.
What led me to doing this was reading an article, which I can no longer find about something called "Wombling" . Wombling (from what I read) is the act of walking around parking lots and picking up the littered receipts and then submitting them in the savings catcher. After stopping by my local Walmart on the way home from work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night and submitting the receipts to about 8 accounts for a few months I had enough in each account to buy my family gifts for Christmas which saved me a ton of money. Some people wonder if this is legal and to that I say, as far as I know this is completely legal , let it by known this is not legal advice and I am not a lawyer. So far the only downside I have found Wombling is that your typical Walmartian may give you a funny look while you spend and extra ten minutes picking up receipts in the parking lot, but if you could care less about the occasional judgement from people in their pajamas getting their 48 pack of Mountain Dew then you are on your way to picking up an extra $1-5 every time you Womble. A good tip is to check discarded shopping carts, don't go anywhere Walmart staff wouldn't want you too, keep receipts with grocery items and not clothing/electronics, lastly be safe and use common sense. If Walmart asks you to leave then don't argue just leave, if your Walmart is in a bad area then maybe walking around in the parking lot picking up old receipts isn't worth it. I hope this helps some of you to save a few bucks so that you can buy something cool or possibly buy something you need with your Egift card and spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. Also this is my very first Steemit post, so apologies if it looks like a steaming pile of shit. Hopefully I can improve my postings with time. Cheers!
