Cashless Society

Japan asks its school kids, "Should Japan be a cashless society?" It's time for adults in the United States to have this conversation, too.

"Negative interest rates" is dangerous folly. A policy disaster, if it happens. Do you think 2008 was bad? Wait.

Imagine, paying to save (at Wells Fargo no less!) and being cornered into only using banks with inflated digital fed notes... and on centralized ledgers inverted or censored on a whim.

If it's to be cashless, then decentralized and censorship resistant financial tech and money is the only good way forward (e.g. Bitcoin).

Otherwise, digital dystopia with complete loss of privacy.

Central banks, with their inflated notes and enormous debt bubbles... and their enabling of illiberal government and surveillance cronyism must meet resistance.

The Federal Reserve private banking cartel is not entitled to live forever and force us to live under it.

Particularly true, if its policies are an assault to liberty and Constitutional rights. The pledge of allegiance is to the Republic, not a banking cartel.

The country should be having a discussion about what role, if any, the Federal Reserve note plays in the 21st Century and digital economy.

Legal tender laws should be under the microscope, as well. As in, will it remain necessary in this new economic age?

If the country won't have this conversation now, it will, one way or another.

But if America accepts whatever it's coerced into, then questions about the future livability of this country are valid.

The war on cash and privacy is real, and global. It is not organic, but top down. In a digital world, the consequences are not of trivial concern.

I Love crypto and I know a cashless society will just mean the government owns more of us and knows more about out day to day lives. the ugly part of the future is coming.

Battle lines on monetary policy are being drawn.
