I had been looking into the different cryptocurrencies with the wild fluctuations and could not bring myself to invest in something with that much volatility.
Introducing Steemit and STEEM cryptocurrency.

At Steemit you can get into cryptocurrency without putting anything up front so I could test the waters.
I had been using the Facebook platform for some time but I was getting tired of Facebook's interference with who sees my posts plus the power they have over me to just shut me down.
Steemit will reward you for posting and curating content.
So I started posting on Steemit and started to follow and connect with others on the platform. I found that not only was it a way of earning STEEM but there was some fabulous people and community there also. To me it was fascinating, the workings of the blockchain.
Now there was quite a learning curve, but I began to see the added benefits of SteemPower and with the lower price of STEEM I saw this as an opportunity to start investing in some STEEM and turning it into SteemPower which in turn rewards you with more STEEM.
To me this way of investing in STEEM and putting it to work supporting yourself and different communities on the Steemit platform gave the most value.
One more thing - you can earn STEEM but the real value is the sharing within the community, keeping the knowledge alive as a part of the blockchain!
