If you've had your head in the sand it's time to pull it out while you can, because those paper assets with the pretty numbers on the computer screen won't be worth a dime when the dollar falls out of favor with the rest of the world. That could easily be triggered by any nation reporting they are going onto a Gold standard.

Love the article and I believe you are correct. I just hope more wake up to the truth so more can be saved. I really appreciate your kind words queenpine. I truly believe that in order to take responsibility for ourselves we need to be informed and realistic. History is a great teacher, and I feel many people in our economic system are totally unaware of the jeopardy they may be in economically and otherwise. I support physical possession of silver and gold as a store of wealth without any counter party risk associated with it. Additionally as a backup position I support cryptocurrency.
