By investing in Steem Power so you can get additional Steem by voting yourself.

The only real revenue source of Steemit community is Steem Dollars burning for promoting posts, but amounts are very low. See https://steemd.com/@null/

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
